Have you ever found out that you were in the same city as an old colleague, after it’s too late to make plans? Well, we have some good news. You can now share your travel plans on LinkedIn in the main network updates feed, making it even easier to coordinate plans or get suggestions from business connections.
The old way is going away...
...but the new updates are even better!
Sharing trip plans on
LinkedIn is an easy way to make the most of your time traveling for business.
Whether it’s a meeting invitation or restaurant recommendation, TripIt and
LinkedIn can uncover opportunities you may not have otherwise thought of.
Don't have your TripIt
account linked to your LinkedIn profile yet? Don't worry, it's easy! To learn more about connecting your accounts, click here.
You can also publish your
travel plans to Facebook, Twitter, Salesforce Chatter and Yammer or share your itineraries

Happy travels!
I really liked having Triplt on my Linkedin profile so I can see whether contacts are at my location or where I am travelling to. It was easy and useful. I have just added in travel details and nothing has come up in Linkedin. Is there an error?
If there is no app on my Linkedin profile and I and others cannot easily see contact's locations then frankly I dont see the point in using Triplt for me personally. I dont need to use it to manage my diary etc, I used it purely to liaise with contacts easily from my profile page.

Please add Google+ sharing. Facebook has gotten too trashy.

LinkedIn has remained one of the most popular ways for TripIt users to share trip plans, since TripIt's original MyTravel LinkedIn app launched in 2008.
